Celebrating 50 years of excellence in engineering, George Burdekin Limited has grown to become a leading specialist in Centreless Grinding. Founded in Coventry by its' present Chairman, George Burdekin, the company offers a unique service which stems from years of specialised expertise and technological investment.

The present Managing Director, Peter Burdekin joined his father over 30 years ago and in 1976 the small engineering firm decided to concentrate on providing one service.Centreless Grinding. Since then the company has achieved a reputation for quality and established a name synonymous as The Centreless Grinding Specialists

Ever increasing pressure for space encouraged the need for expansion, and in 1995, the company moved to the present site in Holbrooks, Coventry. The improved accessibility of the location proved an immediate success. This led to the acquisition of adjacent premises within the first 12 months which enabled the company to operate leaner production systems,improve efficiency and provide new storage and and warehouse facilities.

George Burdekin Limited has invested heavily in networked computer systems, controlled processes, quality programmes and advanced technology. Recognition of quality assurance is supported further by the ISO9002: 1994 accredition
